I am thrilled to introduce our latest newsletter, highlighting the incredible humanitarian work of Be Team International. Through our faithful and enduring partnership with the Fistula Foundation, we are developing a second center of excellence in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar Regional Hospital near its eastern border with Pakistan. This partnership has enabled us to transform lives, including that of Sailo, whose life has dramatically improved following a successful fistula repair.
As healers, we are dedicated to providing compassionate care and making a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve. Sailo’s story is a testament to our commitment to healing and restoring dignity. Her successful fistula repair has given her a new lease on life, and we are honored to have been part of her journey to recovery.
We are also committed to promoting lifelong learning among healthcare professionals. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Josette McMichael for her unwavering dedication to this cause. Her efforts have been pivotal in advancing our mission and ensuring that our team remains at the forefront of medical knowledge and skills.
