Educating Fistula Prevention and Free Treatment
April 4, 2024Freedom from Isolation – A Patient’s Story
July 15, 2024Dear Be Team Friends, Donors, and Coworkers,
Every year on July 4th, as we celebrate the birth of our nation, the freedoms we cherish, and the many blessings we enjoy, we at Be Team International take a moment to reflect on the courageous work of our staff in Afghanistan. Amidst daily challenges, they stand firm, their resolve unbroken, their spirits undeterred, steadfast in their mission to build the nation’s healthcare capacity while elevating women.
For over twenty years, the staff of Be Team International has laid the foundation for a robust healthcare system through quality education and the nation’s best training programs. A remarkable aspect of our efforts is a commitment to gender equality. Women have always constituted 50% of our staff, a testament to our belief in the power of women. In a country where access to healthcare is often limited, these women are not just caregivers; they are lifelines; they are hope.
Our team’s courage and determination to build Afghjanistan’s healthcare capacity while elevating women mirrors the bravery and resoluteness of our founding fathers, reminding us that healthcare and freedom aren’t free but a continuous and costly struggle, a constant endeavor to improve, build, and empower.
So, as the happy memories of this year’s Independence Day carry you and your families through a summer filled with celebrations, family reunions, and vacations, we humbly ask that you remember and support our team in Afghanistan. Let’s honor their bravery by continuing to support them.
Thank you for your generosity.
