“Serving at Cure Hospital since 2019 has been a meaningful and rewarding journey in my professional career. I began my service as an Attending Family Physician and have had the honor of growing into the role of Head of the Family Medicine Department. During this time, I have witnessed the vital role that family medicine plays in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care and strengthening the healthcare system in Afghanistan. Beyond caring for patients, one of our greatest achievements has been training the next generation of Family Medicine specialists, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to serve communities across the country. I am proud to be part of an institution that is committed to clinical excellence, medical education, and the continuous development of healthcare professionals, creating a lasting impact on the health and well-being of the Afghan people.”
Since 2019, Dr. Omer has helped build a department that reaches beyond Cure Hospital’s walls, one newly trained family physician at a time. We are grateful for his commitment to both his patients and the colleagues he mentors.
