Dr. Mohammad Rafiq Qazizada

Patient Services Manager, Cure Hospital
Be Team International

Dr. Mohammad Rafiq Qazizada has served at Cure Hospital for more than nine years. He spent much of that time as Obstetric Fistula Outreach Coordinator, traveling to 32 of Afghanistan’s 34 provinces to raise awareness and train local health workers in prevention and early treatment. Today, he leads Patient Services, overseeing the experience of every patient who comes through the hospital’s doors.

For nine years, Dr. Mohammad Rafiq Qazizada carried this work into some of the country’s most difficult terrain, often under real security risk, work that took skill, patience, and years of trust-building to do well. That persistence helped make possible more than 2,440 fistula repair surgeries, restoring health and dignity to women across Afghanistan. We are grateful for his years of service, in the field and now at the patient’s side.
