Healing Through Giving

Be Team is grateful for the support it receives from our generous donors. Every dime and every dollar given is an investment in the people of Afghanistan. While much has been done to improve healthcare, the work that still needs to be accomplished is significant. Be Team is committed to the task!  

In order to succeed, the following two projects are in need of financial support.

First, a grant that enabled Be Team’s Cure Hospital to implement a feeding program in eleven provinces has run out of funds. Almost 6,000 families that encompassed 50,000 family members were fed with a three-month supply of rice, beans, oil and flour.  

Seeds of Hope can answer the call of food insecurity that leads to poor health and even death.  For $150, a family of 10 can be fed for three months. Cure Hospital’s doctors and staff traveled by car, horse and foot to reach those who were most in need.  Without continued funding, this vital program cannot be resurrected.

Second, preparations are underway to expand the emergency room, outpatient departments and laboratory services at Cure Hospital in Kabul. These improvements, along with the launch of an upgraded laparoscopic training program, will significantly enhance the quality and reach of care we can provide to Afghan families.  To make this vision a reality, we need to raise $200,000.
